So You Want the Truth About Working From Home?

By Jerry J. Jansen On November 10, 2009 Under Make Money Online

Remember the line from “A Few Good Men”?  Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise … a
battle of VERBAL GYMNASTICS …

Nicholson: You want answers?
Cruise:  I think I’m entitled.
Nicholson:  You want answers?!
Cruise:  I want the truth!
Nicholson: You can’t handle the truth!

2 days ago, Craig Garberson, possibly the greatest copywriter I know (Google him
if you’d like) sends out an email talking about “blunt honesty” and asking the reader
to skip the email if they’re not ready for the blunt truth.

Yesterday, I read Jason Moffatsontt’s report The Truth Serum and, again, he talks in
plain BOLD TRUTH and says how it’s rare today.  I figured why not keep a good trend-ball rolling…

You’re reading this article because you’re interested in making money or you’re interested in better marketing.  (If those are NOT your interests then I recommend saving your time right now, as there’s not much other value I can give you).

*** Here’s a TRUTH ABOUT ME first…

I’m the best procrastinator that I know.  And no, that’s not a good thing.  2 ball-and-chains hold me back from the REALLY big (8-figure +) numbers: “time management” and “personal motivation”.

While I’m not especially gifted in any way, when I apply myself to a project, it pays out … very handsomely. And when I share tips even with today’s top minds, some of those are appreciated as useful insights.  But I’m too damn lazy for the ridiculously
big bucks (working on fixing this).

Now…  Let’s be blunt about YOU.  Statistically speaking, you’re a wishful thinker.
You play out the movie of “what if” and ”one day” but you spend your time on the
wrong activities which leads to burnt up energy, dried up resources (money/time) and
frustration from chasing your own tail.

Obviously I didn’t just say that to offend you. That’s never my intention. I enjoy a good life and I’d want nothing less for you (in fact, a lot more especially if you’re not as inherently lazy as I am).

But the above is probably pretty accurate.

*** Legend: Ted Nicholaski

Do you know who Ted Nicholaski is? He has reportedly sold over $4.9 billion in products over his many years. He’s a legend in direct marketing, no question. But he wasn’t born a legend. He TRAINED and EXECUTED to become the legend…

As his story goes, he asked a very successful businessman for his single greatest piece of advice (back when Ted was just a teen).  The #1 greatest tip that Ted got was “become a master of marketing”.

And so he did… he studied and took action with marketing… an incredibly profitable
skill anyone can have.

*** The 26-year-old $202k day, Hymen

Now there’s the story of the 26-year-old Hymen that I’ve talked about and countless
others around the web have buzzed about…  $50k, $100k and even $202k NET profit DAYS … and he’s 26!

He’s nobody special. Maybe now since he’s a bit of a fan favorite and top expert..
but he started at Zero.  What he did was focused in on ONE skill…  lead-gen (aka. CPA, aka. Arbitrage, aka. Marketing). His ability to successfully market campaigns that bring in a ludicrous number of leads and his ability to put SYSTEMS up that do this for him is where his big numbers come from.

He studied and executed a PROFITABLE skill…

Time for self reflection…

Here you are thinking of careless family trips. Big house. Yacht? (maybe). Nice car.
Or just no pressure from bills. The GOOD life…

That’s apparently the end goal.  But what are YOU getting good at?  Are you spending your time becoming a really good mechanic?  A great waiter?  A master chef? (I dropped out of cooking, even my top chef friend only pulls in $21/hr).  A nurse?

WHAT are you spending money and time getting better at?  5 years ago… what where you spending time and money on getting good at?

Realistically, 5 years from now… what will you be spending time and money on getting better at?

Because if the answer is anything that includes the words “salary” or “per hour”,
you’re already in a mindset that simply will NOT produce the results that you need to attain your many wishful-thinking goals.

If you’re not fully pissed off at me yet (I hope you’re not), I’d like to invite you
to this page:

Wealthy Affiliate University

Watch the video on the left hand side at the top of the page.  Then decide if you want to join me on that opportunity.   This can be the most important decision you’ll make …  honestly.

Trust me, opportuity doesn’t usually come knocking at your door…
